As a child, I loved the novel The Secret Garden. The wonder the main character felt as she stepped into a hidden world of blooms and overgrown pathways, and the way that garden slowly opened her friend to the quiet magic and healing power of nature inspired me then as it does now. In that garden petals brushed fingertips, the sweet smell of roses floated in the air, and the golden sunshine flickering through branches and leaves made the whole world glow.
This collection is an invitation into that world.
